PerfilProfile

She works at the Aquatics Lab of the University of Granada, in the research group Physical Activity and Sport in the Aquatic Environment (AFDMA). Her doctoral thesis measured how wetsuits affect swimming performance. Since then she has studied open-water and triathlon swimming, race pacing at international championships, dryland strength and its transfer to the water, and the effects of detraining.

She is also an active endurance athlete and a swimming and cycling coach.
